By accessing or using Thistle Hill Studio (thistlehillstudio.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. These terms may be updated from time to time; continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Description of Service

Thistle Hill Studio is an online art gallery operated by Rosalie Waranius Vass, a visual artist based in Batavia, Illinois. The site offers original paintings for sale and fine art prints produced on demand. We are not a marketplace — all original artwork is created and sold directly by the artist.

Ordering

No account is required to place an order. By submitting an order, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age and that the information you provide is accurate and complete. All orders are subject to acceptance and availability. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion.

Pricing and Payment

All prices are listed in US dollars (USD) and are subject to change without notice. Payment is processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your credit card information. A sale is complete only after payment has been successfully processed and confirmed.

Shipping

Original artwork is carefully packed and shipped by the artist within 7 business days of purchase. Shipments are insured. Fine art prints are produced and shipped by Prodigi, our print-on-demand partner, typically within 5–10 business days. We currently ship to United States addresses only.

Intellectual Property

All artwork, photography, and content on this site is the property of Rosalie Waranius Vass. Purchase of a physical work or print does not transfer copyright. Reproduction of any artwork without written permission is prohibited.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Thistle Hill Studio and Rosalie Waranius Vass shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or purchase of products. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the applicable product.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Kane County, Illinois.
